Anyways, I have some good news I guess, my brother in law attended a DACA information meeting they had at our local library, he told me that USCIS just finished training a bunch of people so that they could speed up the process. The guy giving the speech was some kind of administrator guy or something, since I'm in NJ hopefully that means they're putting people in Vermont, he said the reason it could be going slow at first is because they are taking their time since it's a new process they are reviewing and what not.

so yeah, now about that cousin, I call second dibs.
Very cool! I think this info just put you at the top for dibs...

Also: after perusing pretty much this entire forum last night due to insomnia, I am almost 100% certain I shall be getting an RFE. I have rock solid evidence from 2007-2010 and then 2012 (school records for 2007-2010 and then monthly bank statements for all of 2012 and other assorted things) but as I was working completely full time during all of 2011, I only had my tax return and the one semester (Summer) of grad school I attempted. I thought the tax info was good enough but it appears that it is not. Hmmm. And I went with an attorney so that grinds my gears just a bit more.

Oh well. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Good luck today guys! I think I'm gonna take a breather and just wait for the text to tell me I failed and need to resubmit my entire life story for USCIS to be convinced that I was in the country for all of 2011. Thankfully, I have tons of bank info for that year...wish I had just self-filed, I know I would've been a bit more paranoid and careful. I know this is all speculation at this point, but I can almost feel it coming. Grrr!

I love how positive you are, makes justice to your nickname :P ....stop being so melodramatic!! you arent in a mexican soap opera lol, just expect the best news and be prepared for anything, but dont be so negative about life, cause im sure this attitude will just reflect in anything you do. In one month you will be with the EAD in you hands, and in a job interview telling the human resources person interviewing you: "here I am although I know im not getting this job" ...im not being a troll, consider this a wake up slap :P ...i want all of us to be on top of our game and ready to take on the world

Do not worry Tommydreamer!
You will get yours soon. From just random browsing through case numbers on USCIS, I can tell that there are still a TON of people even on 15th and 16th that are in "Initial Review" from not just Vermont but other service centers as well. Dont give up and punching babies is not allowed!
