P.S. - What does your status on USCIS show now?
“Case is actively being reviewed by USCIS”

You too?

So, it looks like USCIS fcashes my checks today, and I filed last week. How long until a biometrics appointment letter comes in the mail from this point?

No, I have not. Could you tell me how I would go about this? What phone number?
Not sure what you mean by "second tier officer".

Those were two different options I previously mentioned.

1.) Do an infopass appointment to speak with an officer directly.

2.) Call the 1-800 number speak with customer service and request to speak with an Officer concerning details on your case. Specifically the bio-metrics notice.

Ok, I will do that. Thank you!

For my fellow socal peeps, I walked in at the El Monte office today (scheduled to be 2/15).

Got there at 8am, but I was already number 60, which was weird since I thought they open at 8am.

I think walk-in at this location might be a hit-or-miss, because the security person had to ask the supervisor if I could do it. She seemed a bit reluctant but let me do it anyway.

The whole process took 30 minutes from when I got there to when I walked out.

There is a spreadsheet with times in the first page of this thread. I think the average wait time is around 20 days

I hated parking there earlier this week! It was somewhat busy when I got there at 11AM.

Random thought that is neither here nor there, is based on a fact on an article, and something worth thinking about while we renew:

only 22% of DACA recipients are either in college or have a college degree (18% in college, 4% grads). This compared with 44% of DACA recipients who completed high school but are not in college.

We have to do better.
