Ok. so, I just got a notification from USCIS requesting a RFE!!!!! why??!!! Everything is in order. I guess my case is gonna take another 6 months. They received my application sept 20th, why take sooooo long to give me a RFE!!! Im soooo sad/upset

application received: 9/20/12 @ Nebraska Center | biometrics (no walk in): 10-17-12 (fingerprints taken incorrectly) | 2nd Biometrics: 11/15/12 | RFE notification: 03/4/13 | RFE Letter received : 03/27/13 (took 23 days to arrive) | Evidence sent to Nebraska : 03/28/13 | RFE received at Nebraska: 03/29/13 | Approved: 4/10/13

And if his plan is for us to be approved or maybe take a little longer, only he will know why...

Applications Submitted : Sept 3, 2012 Application Received: Sept 5, 2012 Bio Appointment: Went on October 1st and had a finger injury. They only took my pic and i had to come back on Friday Oct 5 for the fingerprints

Not necessarily my cousin got a RFE he sent what he needed and a couple of days later the was approved. Just send what they ask for and shouldn't take that much longer at least be thankful that the're looking at your application I haven't hear anything from them. Best of Luck.

Thank you Lost Path, you bring hope to my life, as cheesy as that might sound. I hope this isnt another super long wait. I really wish your case gets resolved soon. There are many people here in this forum who TRULY deserve to get approved, and i really hope you are one of them. Best of luck to you too my friend.

BTW, does it state on the letter that im supposed to receive in a couple of days (maybe) exactly what they need? Just wondering if you know.

what kind of rfe are they asking for and what did u originally submit ?

I dont know. I havent received the letter yet, and online it only says to follow the instructions on the letter. So, im just waiting for it. My case was handled by my lawyer but I submitted a ton of info, like school records, bills, and a ton of bank statements.
