Don't wait for that letter if that's what's holding you back from renewing. USCIS is accepting all applications no matter the expiration date. I sent my application Feb 5. I expire this Nov 2018. I got an email today that USCIS has decided to take action on my application and I can check my account online. After about an hr trying to sign in (I had to renew my password but I had forgotten my password because the last time I used it was in Oct 2016) I was finally able to check my status... however it won't load. 
just keeps saying loading data...
Anyone ever experience this issue?
