And no "I got impatient" is not a legitimate reason to do your freaking walk-in on september 9th when you're scheduled for October something. If you submitted late that's your problem and you should just wait. It just really pisses me off that us who submitted on the 15th and got everything straight and waited like we're supposed to are going to be in the later half of approvals.

Edit: And if you can't make it to your scheduled date there's a reason that there's a rescheduling option for a LATER date. Just because something (if anything besides a death in the family could possibly ever be) is apparently more important than a literally once in a lifetime opportunity doesn't mean you get to cut the line.

Calm down Mr. Rule Follower
You already broke many rules by being an immigrant. I am sure a lot of people who wait in line to fix their status the right way say the same thing about you and us.

And it's funny how this forum flip-flops around. I remember when we were waiting for this everyone was like be patient it's gonna be a long wait, we should do everything correctly, everyone just be patient and wait your turn.
Then one person found out you could do walk-ins and skip the lines and its "hurr durr 1 month ahead of schedule walk-in yay!"

We have absolutely no idea how the "goverment" is handleling our cases.....it does not depends on "walk-ins" or how many pages you sent or who sent the package first..

How can we possibly assume something of something we have no control of it...

this is the goverment of the united states not some bullshit office....
if thats the case blame them for not paying attention to the dates on the cases and taking the ones they want first.

If walk-in were a problem the people in charge over at the asc centers would definetely gives us a hard time or even rejected us..but they didnt......

no hard feelings tho just the truth...

I agree.

Does anyone know if the receipt number given with the electronic information is legit to use with "My Case Status"? It says they suggest to wait until the I-797 to do it but I'm curious.
