With all due respect to everyone, please stop saying you’ve been approved when you’ve only been accepted by USCIS to review your case. We are trying to keep track of actual approvals, don’t make it confusing

Just got the message that biometrics was scheduled. Document is not on ELIS yet so I don't know what day I am scheduled for. Will call about walk in ASAP due to my expiration date.

Has anyone done a walk-in in Detroit?

Gonna repost since no one answered

I expire Feb 2019 and I see a lot of people saying to turn in renewals since they're accepting them. However, do you think I should risk it and still send in my renewal if I have a final order? Especially with ICE being aggressive as they are...

Do the costs outweigh the rewards? In other words, is another year of status worth it? I’d say yes, even without daca I’d be hard pressed to see ICE step up removal of dreamers...

It’s at your own risk, but I’d say yes... they already have your information... what can a renewal uncover that they don’t already know?

If you were a first time applicant I’d probably say no, but uscis already has all your information....

If you can afford it, consult a lawyer, if not reach out to legal aid organizations and see what they say. Prepare your packet for renewal though...

Okay, I got my biometrics appointment for the 28th!

Is anyone thinking of delaying their appointents? Is that even a good idea at this point?

No, get renewals in ASAP! We don’t know when scotus will rule or how. We don’t know if there will be a counter lawsuit. It’s best to get the renewals in.
