For those who had errors on their EAD, did the error also show up on your approval letters?

The error was in every correspondance I received regarding my I-765 (Fees Payed, Biometrics, Card Mailer).
The error was not in the correspondance I received regarding my Deferred Action.

Damn it, I got a typo on my i765 approval letter with a 1 letter error on my middle name (mailing list portion) My Applicant name on the paper looks good though so I am very anxious to see. I hope it's nothing too major.

So small update, my lawyer called uscis last week and they told them that it would take about 2 months to get it done. Now the weird thing is that as some of you here. Its been a month and i have not gotten even an email saying we got your correspondance, or status change. I got a letter last night stating that my lawyer called etc. but that they still havent received my card. I know some of you have send off your card back to nebraska, and didnt hear back till past a month or a bit more right? Id like to think this is normal?

This is why I don't trust lawyers, if you want something done right, sometimes you have to do it yourself. You are just one case out of many that your lawyer has and they don't pay as much attention to your case as you would want them to.

It took about 15 days from when I called for me to receive an email telling me to send the card back. Then two more weeks until I got a status change saying they received it.

Thanks, I'll try not to run someone over or flip the car.

For those with name errors, did they still let you apply for SSN?

I was fortunate enough to get a very nice lady when I applied for my SSN. My error was that they put in a middle name when I don't have a middle name. She said it was ok, that they don't really use middle names anyway so they left it out and my SS card has my name on there correctly. I also believe other people have been able to apply for one and they have just been advised to go correct their name in the SS system once they get the corrected EAD. It is really at the discretion of the person you get at the SS office.
