Someone ahead of me got approved for both 821D and work permit... Does that mean anything? Cause 1000 numbers before still said initial review for others..

From the trend, it really seems like the decisions depend heavily on WHEN your app was received by USCIS and WHEN you're current EAD is expiring. I feel like if your app was received about 90-100 BUSINESS days before your expiration date, you really should be expecting to be renewed comfortably about a month or so before your expiration date. The more that time frame is delayed, the lesser your chances in getting approved on time.

just faxed my documents to one of my congressman.

USCIS wouldnt allow me to expedite it because of DACA.

I will fax more information to my Senator tom. Which is Bob Menendez.

Hello all,
Have any of the November approvals gotten the I821D approved? I got my EAD approved Oct 1st so i am happy, but my I821D is still in Initial Review.
My initial expiration date was Nov 4th.

I have yet to be approved. I read here how several people called USCIS and they mentioned something about a temporary deferred action and work permit, however I have called several times this week and they told me that this only applies if it has been 6 months since the DACA application was received. I've also contacted my congressman to see if they could get information on my case but I have yet to hear back from them. I don't understand how they are processing the renewal applications, my sister and I both sent in the renewals at the same time and had same day biometrics, her original DACA was set to expire 10/28/14 and she was approved 9/26/14. Im so frustrated and feel helpless, it feels surreal to be going throught this whole issue, I guess I took for granted the freedom that we received with DACA and having a work permit. I have a great job that I love, and I worked so hard to get it, I have a appointment with HR this Thursday to discuss my situation. Im sorry for the long post, I just needed to vent with others who would understand what im going through.

Yes both 821D and 765 approved for me yesterday. Your 821D is approved don't worry. You can't get an EAD without 821D being approved. It's just weird and nobody knows how USCIS functions with these delays. That really is bizarre in your case but I would give them a call. It's definitely approved dont worry about that.

It's okay. Vent away. At this point there's nothing we can do but be patient. It's something that we cannot control. Where I work, they haven't really mentioned anything about my EAD expiring soon. Then again I've been working once a week and stuff. My DACA and EAD expire in the first few days of November. They received my application on July 3. I'm still under initial review. I had thought this would be a little fast considering the only thing I have been doing since I was approved is going to school and working. I have no criminal background. My name is very unique. Well the first name anyway. But still, I've been waiting and getting worried for the past few days.
