This will probably be the outcome.

This is why we can no longer be toying around with the idea of another short term bill regardless of how many days it is, it will be pointless!

You can pretty much not take Trump at his word. Schumer shouldn't be this naive.

True, but the math/trend does not look good for Republicans.

Less and less senators voting for CR, and now 3 Republicans are voting no for six weeks extension.

With 3-5 days CR, shut the government down right before State of the Union. How does it look for Trump? Is he going to deliver the State of the Union if shutdown happens?

Indeed, the fact that the Justice department is appealing DACA shows their current initiative. The administration cannot be trusted. A hard shutdown should have commenced without meeting, imo.
