If dems don't at least negotiate now or after the government is opened for DACA, the republicans will roast them and get latino votes back.
Funny. Immigration is the only thing holding back Immigrants from going full republican. Most immigrants are conservative when you don’t bring up immigration, but even then they’d say kick all the bad ones out.

I'm going to agree with this one.

The republicans dont want to give us anything because they've soured the Hispanic base on republicanism. If their rabid right didnt spook off the conservative hispanics maybe they could've kept the house last election.

Too bad republicans are gutless and none of them will step out from the line the upper echelons have drawn in the sand.

Vft dont bother reading this, the words are too advanced for you and too long of a post for you to handle.

3-year extension makes no difference to most dreamers. Since SCOTUS is not likely to take up DACA, most people can still renew one more time which will give us close to that 3-year extension. It has to be renewable.

Joint Statement from Members Smooth & Two-Face

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - January 19, 2019

As leaders of Dreamers for a Bipartisan Compromise, we'd like to welcome President Trump's call for a compromise and recognize that this is a valid starting point. Further, we acknowledge the Dreamers' concerns for a more permanent solution and call on the Democrats in the House and Senate to come to the negotiating table and fight for one on behalf of us. Most importantly, we realize that most of the Border Security measures called on in this compromise were once endorsed by the Democrats in the past. Given that there is no more demand for a a Brick/Stone Wall, it makes total sense for the Democrats to come on board. Most importantly, at this juncture, we consider ourselves as Americans and extend warmest greetings and support to the Federal employees who are about to miss their second paycheck.

Taken from the Bridge Act (S.3542, 114th Congress):
“(d) Duration of provisional protected presence and employment authorization.—Provisional protected presence and the employment authorization provided under this section shall be effective until the date that is three years after the date of the enactment of this section.

It's not even a full 3 years, it all just dies fully on the 3rd anniversary of the bill being signed into law. Doesn't matter how long USCIS takes to process your application and we'd all expire on the same day.

If this isn't a ticking fucking timebomb then I don't know what it is.

So you're saying I should put out a joint DJM Demise statement? And that I should provide evidence of you agreeing with me?

It'll take a while. But I'll see what I can do DM me with your talking points cause you already know all mine.
