This is the fastest immigration process I've lived through. But again its a temprary status, still very important. Wish other processes were this fast. Others have to wait years not weeks. We're in good hands all.

Thanks!

The only thing that worries me is that 821D says it was mailed but the post/decision circle is not blue. Only EAD Card/Production circle is blue.

Its bullshit how this dumb immigration systems has its dumb waiting period for each category I'm under F2A and still waiting now I'm waiting for daca to at least approve for a work permit bc I have chronic kidney disease and also have high blood pressure and I can't pay for my meds or anymore check ups to the docs office on my kidneys that's why I'm super pissed with all of this waiting and waiting I could die if I don't have my medication and ect!!!!!!!! My medication is 150 dollors and MRI's and other doctors treatments come up to close to $1000! So yes I'm being serious!
What state and city are you in? I volunteer with a nonprofit clinic that provides free medical care and medication to uninsured regardless of legal status, the only requirement is that you do NOT have medical insurance. If they see that you need the MRI, they may be able to help you with that too. Also, if your high blood pressure is an issue, there are practical things you can do to help your kidneys, such as cut down on salt, etc. Don't lose hope.

I wouldn't worry. What is written is what matters.

I got a text today around 1pm.

My case went from initial review to a message stating that they were not able deliver mail to the address in my file. They were sending mail to an incorrect address so it would get returned back to them. Once I called them to give them the correct address, the message stated that my EAD was mailed!!!

Im so excited! Cant wait to get in the mail.

Here's my timeline is the following:

Application Sent -9/9/2012
Date of I-797 C Notice of Action - 9/12/2012 (California Center)
Date of Biometrics Appointment - 9/26/2012 Walked in 9/20/12 in Chicago (S Pulaski)
Date EAD was mailed- 10/3/2012
Congrats yo!!! Wait.. U got approved from Texas service center right???.. Then Why does it say California center in ur signature ?

I was approved on 9/28 and received two "I-797, Notice of Action" on 10/3 saying I was approved for EAD and for DACA. Is this considered my EAD card (they're 2 pieces of paper) or should I expect another physical card in the mail?

They are just your approval letters. You will receive a Certified Mail Envelope with your physical Employment Authorization Card (I-766) very soon.
