i only submitted e-request like the day after i hit 6 months. i never called the office b/c i've read many posts here saying that it's pretty useless. not that e-request was any helpful but it doesn't hurt to try... if you haven't done it yet i think you should do it just to let them know that you care... just make sure that you put in your email when you do it or else it's gonna take a week to get the reply when it should only take a day. good luck!

from previous posts it looks like anywhere from 1 day to a month , but average time would probably be anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks or less , you never know
