I got a response back from Ombudsman’s Office .........."Mr. Rico

Thank you for the inquiry submitted to the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (Ombudsman’s Office).

In response to our inquiry, USCIS has informed us that your case is actively being adjudicated.

Unfortunately, USCIS will require more time to complete its review. At this time we are unable to provide a specific time of when a resolution may occur. We understand that this requires patience from individuals like yourself, but we would like to assure you that we will continue to monitor USCIS’s progress and we will inquire about your case again after 60 days. Please let our office know if you hear from USCIS during this time period.

Please note that the Ombudsman’s Office cannot compel USCIS to make a decision on a case, nor can it require USCIS to change a decision that it has made. Additionally, the Ombudsman’s Office is unable to help if you are seeking legal advice or assistance with an issue that does not involve USCIS. Please visit our website www.dhs.gov/cisombudsman for more information about our office.

Thank you for giving the Ombudsman’s Office the opportunity to assist you.

Sincerely,
Arie
Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman
U.S. Department of Homeland Security "

But what do they mean by "USCIS has informed us that your case is actively being adjudicated.

Unfortunately, USCIS will require more time to complete its review." What does adjudicated mean?
