Are you telling me that they may keep it at August 31st for a long time and never change it so they do not have a whole bunch of people sending E-Requests or calling them. THEY WOULD NEVER DO THAT.

Welcome to the Immigration System. This is the exact reason they changed it to this way and now. No problems from lawyers, No problems from applicants, No problems from press.
I heard about that DACA Lawsuit and it could block and close down deferred action I'm scared that it does that means all the people granted and people who are pending will terminate there status of working and 2 year safe will be termatied as well

"A federal judge is expected to rule within a few weeks or even days on whether Congress has the primary right to amend deportation processes that create benefits for young immigrants, after a hearing Monday in a Dallas district court. Ten U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents, including one in Dallas, seek a preliminary injunction against deportation suspensions for up to 1.7 million persons potentially covered by an initiative known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. The unusual case pits deportation officers against their bosses. They’re led by their national union president Christopher Crane, who is based in Salt Lake City." - Dianne Solis, Dallas Morning News, Apr. 8, 2013.
A federal judge in Dallas heard arguments Monday in a lawsuit filed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The group wants to block the Obama administration’s policy of allowing certain young people brought into the country illegally by their parents to avoid deportation.

Judge Hears Arguments In DACA Lawsuit Filed By ICE Agents
Aired 4/9/13
A federal judge in Dallas heard arguments Monday in a lawsuit filed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents over Obama's deferred deportation policy for DREAMers.
Ten ICE agents filed suit last year against Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and other top immigration authorities after the administration announced its Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, policy.

The policy came with a directive to ICE officers to refrain from detaining or deporting young people who may qualify under the policy to remain in the country and get a work permit.

The agents who filed the lawsuit allege that complying with the policy requires them to violate federal law and therefore violate their oaths to uphold federal law.

They also allege that if they disobey the new policy, they risk getting sanctioned or fired.

Judge Reed O’Conner heard a full day of arguments in the case on Monday and will make a ruling soon on whether to grant a preliminary injunction.

The plaintiffs include the head of the San Diego ICE agents union and four agents from the El Paso Sector.

One of the lawyers representing the agents is Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who helped draft Arizona's controversial SB 1070 immigration law.

Hey guys i found something i read that was interesting.. What do you think?

-Those who received deferred action under President Obama’s action would automatically qualify for provisional legal status. And young adults who would been deported but would have qualified for the program but for the deportation could also apply.-
