I don't much care for my EAD renewal.... wait I do, but I care more about my DACA renewal so that it does not affect my enlistment in the army.

Does anyone know if the background checks they do to renew DACA are dependent on the biometrics? (I know it would not make sense not to, but I'm just asking in case someone knows it to be for a separate reason)

I think they do I just got a reply for a service request and they said that they where monitoring the Expiration dates on EAD card. And that you must also have attended your biometrics appointment they will review your case to ensure proper placement.

Also, it's likely that most people had their income drastically increased as they accumulate years of experience with the ability to work for ANY employer.
I think we've identified the culprit here: the electronic filing system. According to an inquiry placed by my attorney, the biometrics notices are supposed to be sent out within the first 30 days automatically. There should be no first level of review prior to issuing a biometrics notice.

I had that feeling at a job for 10 years.... hated it... this time around it's different because I've been talking to HR and making it clear to them it's not my fault, so they're on my side. They're even looking into whether they can sponsor me for an H1B.

Does anyone know anything about that? I haven't decided if I want it (because I'm enlisting in the army, which would give me citizenship in 10 weeks).

If you've already passed the ASVAB, PHYSICAL, OPI, & have signed a contract, then you don't need your DACA. They do recommend having status even after signing your contract and waiting for ship date but it is not a dis-qualifier

Good to know, thanks!
Yes, I have passed the ASVAB, done my physical and OPI .
They haven't contacted anyone in my family about background check yet, but that's just a matter of time.

So you've already received your bios, correct, Dude? What steps did you take to get the notice after 50 days?

Nvm, I reread your post. It looks like you still haven't received bios.

I am considering a duplicate application at the moment.
