I called the USCIS at 1-800-375-5283. I checked the status of my case and then pressed the option to speak with an operator. I asked the operator if I could do a service request and he said that I definitely could file a petition to expedite my case. He verified my information and gave me a confirmation number. A few days later, I received a letter that said that DACA cases cannot be expedited and will be handled according to the time frame they have been received. So I don't know how much it helped, but I at least got to request some new information regarding my case. And a week later, I am approved! I suggest you call too. Can't hurt!

For example, my case status just went to post decision for my deferred action application and I received a text/email. The status for my EAD still says card production. I expect a tracking number notification within the next couple of days. |
P.s I sign up for the notification on USCIS a couple hours ago, hopefully is not too late that way I can get a tracking number notification.

After 7 months 4 days. 216 days total, 30 weeks and 6 days, 5184 hours. I got a message today at 3:00 P.M when I was at the Gym saying that my i-765 had been updated and at 8:45 got the text saying that I had been approved for both. I am so happy. Now just hopping they don't mess up my name. I hope that those that are still waiting get approved soon. Good Luck. |
