You're in for a world of hurt. Depending on your office, people are waiting over a year for their interviews. Mine wait was almost 8 months for an interview.

I'm not in for a world of hurt. Please revise the facts.

I'm in hartford, the office is not delayed here. I have no records. I am a visa overstay. I have no court order. I have DACA. I have a BS degree. I have a good income. I have a good profession. I own property. My family don't have criminal records. My wife's family no criminal record.

I doubt I am going to wait over a year.

We will come back to this.

BeeHive, please don't get defensive. APInfo is trying to help temper your expectations. Your case could get stuck at MBC or wherever before it goes to the Hartford field office. This is USCIS! When have you known them to operate like clockwork?

Although my friends who have AOSed before me got their stuff done in 3 months, I still had to remind myself that my case could take longer. This is despite the fact that I, too, had a clean background and application packet. My lawyer warned me that it could take up to 6 months or longer. So I went into this expecting a 1-year timeline.

If you expect a 3-month timeline, then every day your case goes over that mark, you're going to stress and think the worst thoughts. What is the point in putting that mental burden on yourself and your spouse? It will get done eventually, and you still have your DACA.

If you have pent up energy, though, I suggest you start prepping your interview packet little by little. So when the time comes, you don't scramble like I did. I can send you a redacted scan of my interview notice, if you'd like.

I apologize if I came to hard on you, I was just giving you facts.

Let us just wait and see how long my case is. I'm usually right most of the time.

Everything you mentioned has nothing to do with how your interview is scheduled. Aside maybe the no criminal record thing. While it may not be 8 months like in more immigrant populated areas, it's going to take time.

I Only mentioned it because you seem to be so inpatient over already having done biometrics on the 17th and not heard anything yet. That's all. I don't care either way when your interview is scheduled, so no need to come back to it. I was simply stating so you won't expect it to be immediate.

Also, just because yours took 8 months it doenst mean we are all in the same house as you. So stop wishing the worst on people when you yourself had to wait long.

Bruh!! You need to take a step back and maybe take a break from thinking about the AOS process for a little bit. You sound like a damn child. You're expecting this to be done yesterday, and all we're saying is you still have some waiting to do. Don't trip and definitely don't be rude to people who are just trying to help.

Do you think the people who dealt with longer timelines did so because their paperwork was less clean than yours? Get real, man. To echo APInfo, clean paperwork doesn't mean shit to USCIS.

You're at the mercy of the government. The last thing you should do is have so much conviction in your guesses.

For reals dude. Take a chill pill, maybe find yourself a hobby with the spouse and lay off the message boards for a while. You sound like my 10 year old cuz.
