UPDATE

My packet was delivered this morning at Chicago, IL signed by J.C. Ended up sending both my sister and my applications in the same packet, clearly separated. Everything is organized straight forward. I expect this to be a very smooth process. Should take one and a half month tops for approval.

I hope I get mine renewed ASAP! I am looking to get a new job and feel like doing it with a EAD that is about to expire might not be the best.

According to I-9 it is illegal for an employer to deny employment based on a future date of a valid government issued EAD

I was hired for a position with a firm that would have paid me decent money. When it came to doing paperwork and showing them my EAD, they rescind their employment offer. It was very unprofessional. The workplace was predominately asian workers. I was very upset with the situation, but I thought a place that did this kind of stuff is probably not a place one would want to work for.

Lol you can legally sue for that.

Would you mind sharing name of the firm?
