Aww what is going on? I still can't believe my timeline. And I received my card yesterday! 2 years valid. Which was expected. Hope you all get approved soon. Its getting ridiculous how hard is it to approve clean re applicants. No comprendo.

The most annoying part of all of this, is that I got an update back in September. A name update, I though I was going to approved that same week.

Hey guys so I emailed someone from NILC about my documents expiring soon. I hope this info helps so I'm going to post their answer.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us about your stressful situation.

For the most part USCIS has been processing renewal requests before EADs expire. It’s possible for NILC to raise individual cases with USCIS headquarters about 10 days before the EAD expiration. If you would like for us to raise your case around 12/6, please send me the following information:

- Biometrics appointment date
- Any mailings received from USCIS
- Have you traveled outside the U.S. since receiving DACA?
- Have you had any encounters with law enforcement since receiving DACA?

If you haven’t already been doing so, you should check the USCIS case status tool daily.
Other steps that you can take are to file a request for assistance with the USCIS Ombudsman at https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx. If your case is with the Nebraska Service Center you can ask them to expedite your case by emailing [email protected] with your case information and EAD expiration date.
The Ombudsman’s office has given instructions for requesting expedited handling. Follow the regular case assistance request process for the ombudsman at www.dhs.gov/case-assistance, and submit form DHS 7001 online. Indicate on the form the reason for the expedited request (such as potential loss of employment) and the date the current EAD will expire. You should get an Ombudsman-specific case number. After you have done the online inquiry and forms, you can contact:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
For assistance with expediting renewals only. They recommend waiting 75 days after applying before contacting for expedited processing.

Sincerely,
Shiu-Ming
