I'm still waiting for my DA approval, but here's the timeline:
Application received: 10/22/12.
Application accepted: 10/24/12
Biometrics appointment: 11/15/12
Application transferred from Vermont center to Nebraska center: 03/06/13
EAD approved: 05/14/13.
Still waiting on the DA approval

Waited almost seven months for this! and the timing could not be more perfect!

I got a little scared reading the begining of your post, but I'm glad it ended well!
Weird how we can all feel happy for eachother even tho we are complete strangers.

So 2 and a half years ago I had a great job with a beautiful new BMW coupe to go along with it. I was making money and going to college at the same time. My son's mother was pissed and decided to tell the police I kicked her ass. I was arrested and later on found not guilty. ICE and the FBI showed up to my hearing because her father works with immigration agents and they wanted to scare me. Since then the government took away my license and my ability to work as well and I would've been deported if she wouldn't of been caught lying on the witness stand during trial. I had to sell my sexy car because I couldn't drive I anymore and also because I needed to pay for my criminal attorney. I then used some of the money left over and hired a family law attorney so I can see my son again as soon as possible. Shortly after hose sacrifices and not being able to work I had to drop out of college with a 3.7 GPA going into my second year. I have not been able to do anything with my life this all that crap happened and I'm going crazy. I can't provide for myself and I can barely provide for my son. I need this crap to come in soon because waiting is taking a toll on me. I know allot if you understand what I'm going through so I appreciate all the support we give each other on this forum. It's just ironic that I have 5 years of management and team leadership experience and I can't even put it to use!

thats horrible , some girls just act without knowing the consequences , i met some guy in ice who was also detained had 3 little ones and didnt know whether he would be able to bond out or not , i never found out either since i bonded out first , but that is just crucial , people never seem to think in the long term consequences , good luck tho i hope we hear something soon

I have bad news.....and it's not about my case it's about my health.......it's getting worse......I have chronic kidney diease and high blood pressure I'm only 20 years old. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that I only have 30% kidney function left and that sometime this year I will need a kidney transplant or go on Dialysis...........I'm still waiting to be approved I need my EAD card in order to get my insurance back because the surgery isn't gonna be cheap it's in the thousands....I'm very scared for my life at this point. I do have someone (my partner) willing to give me one of his healthy kidneys so I can live a normal life again. Anyways I'm still waiting and need Nebraska Service center to understand who ever is handling my case to approve me already so I can get on the roll with the transplant. I don't know what god has in store for me.......

Devastating to hear your news! Did you work with lawyer to send your application? If you did, then you should definitely inform your lawyer. If your health is at stake it's possible that they could expedite your case- or at the very least call attention to it. Remain positive, positive attitudes and outlooks render positive results =) Prayers for you and your health.
