I'm from GA too. I lived in Metro ATL. I went to Duluth High School. Lived in Norcross. I moved to Oak Ridge TN in '04. This is my timeline so far. Lawyer mailed application 8/30. Applications received 9/07. bio letter received 9/24 for 10/4 walk in 9/27. I did my bio in Nashville. The guard had no problem with my doing my bio early, but this other lady was a little upset, but she let me do it because my older brother had his actual appointment that day. So I just had to wait until all the 8am appointments got done.

Im so excited that we live so close to each other! Good luck!

So this guy told me that his adjustment status a while ago (for PR through marriage) took a really long time when it was handled in the Vermont center....It's not a pattern, its just them being slowpokes and going random.

485s are a lot more difficult to adjudicate. How long did his 765 take?

I mean, Given the average time they take for those cases, it took longer than usual, he said. He didnt tell me exactly how long it took.

So it looks like Vermont is sticking to the 4-6 months timeline.

What a drag...

I know what you mean. I only did it cause I went with my brother. I didn't have much to loose. My lawyer is in KY. His name is Rusty O'Brien. I was going to use a local lawyer, but they were more expensive. I paid $1000 for everything included. I was going to go to Jeremy Jennings just because he is way closer, but since I already had a previous case with Rusty I decided to have him handle this case as well. Who is your lawyer?
