Yeah. Doesn't it piss you off when people ask dumb questions after being approved.

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've seen people answer the same question plenty of times. How about the ones who applied in Nov, Dec and January and get approved, then they ask how long it takes to receive the card. Come on, people have been waiting for 8-9 months here. Just wait another week and chill.

This is utter bs, people that applied in November or December have already been waiting for 7 and 6 months, they should have been approved by now.
Just because you been waiting one or two months longer than us doesn't mean we aren't sick of waiting too. You should be happy that your fellow dreamers are getting approved, jealousy leads to nothing. Follow your own advice, keep waiting and chill.

It's not about jealousy but fairness. It's like when you stand in line waiting for your turn and some other people that are further back just 'cut in'. I know it sounds wrong, but it is true.

It not a line and no one is cutting in.. we're the ones that send in our paperwork, and no one knows how this works. Seems to me everyone that has been approved have had easier cases or easy going agents.. It is what it is! we really can't do anything BUT wait.. why get mad?

My point exactly. The problem is that most of us are self-important, especially with something like DACA and our legal status. In my opinion (like I said above), it's a bit unfair to have sent your application and stuff last year and not being approved yet (beginning of the line) compared to people who just submitted their apps a few months ago (end of line) being approved first.

It's difficult trying to be unbiased...and if I get approved before someone who submitted their app in 2012, I would think it's unfair, but I won't say no to it (after all, we only look for our benefit).

EDIT: Btw, I'm not mad, but I understand the other poster.

Exactly It's not a line, there's people that have been waiting for 9 months and then there's people that got approved within 3 weeks. There is no reason to get mad at each other, we are all going through the same things.

Don't take your anger out on dreamers that have gotten approved, and people from December and November have already waited more than 6 months more than the official processing time. Just calmly wait for your turn to come.

What you don't realize is that the original poster was complaining about people that applied last year. Regardless no one has any justification to get mad at people that have been approved, even if they were approved fast. I'm tired of seeing that kind of self centered (I'm the center of the universe) attitude, that some of you people have.

I think it all started with someone saying they got approved and asking how long it would take for them to get their card...and that, I think, it's annoying. If people read a couple of pages from some threads they would get the answers; instead, they just ask again and again and again...

I just want to justify someone's anger towards having sent their applications eight months ago and not being approved...and how someone who sent theirs last month, already has. I cited the example of being in a line...then people say that nobody knows how apps are being handled, but that is not my point. I say it again, if you were in a line and someone cut in front of you, you would get mad, period, and that is how some people look at all what's going on.

Unfortunately it's not our fault, and we can't ask much from USCIS (I'm not defending them). It is unfair (IMO) that they don't make sure all the people from previous months get approved first...but, it is what it is. I'm not mad, I won't get mad. I haven't been approved, I'm gonna be waiting (maybe eight months like many here), and I'll just keep on doing my stuff.
