I received my new EAD with a typo. It says I was born here in the US instead of Mexico.

Would I be able to use this to apply for a new job?

It comes via Priority Mail

Ok I was calm but now I'm getting worried my permit expires on April 17 and my status haven't change from "Case received" since they got it in December, I did my biometrics back in January and was calm thinking there was time but since there seems to be they approve people just randomly instead that by dates I'm unease about mine getting approve on time. What its getting me worried is my license issue, it expires the same day and I won't be able to renew it until I get my renew work permit

Got renewed in one month and a half! I think it's random. I am blessed! You will get approved!

I am happy for everyone who go theirs done. Right now I'm stuck just waiting I sent my DACA renewal in February but it got sent back to me because the money was short. I resent it with correct amount within 3 days and a week later my case was accepted February 28th. It is now April and I still have not been given a bio-metrics meeting I am not sure if I should be worried yet. I am curious if anyone is going through or has dealt with a delayed bio-metrics meeting?

They should've already sent your bio appointment. I would call about that - mine came within two weeks of the receipt of the application.

hello,

I had a question regarding expediting a daca case. My renewal case was received by NSC on January 6 and my EAD expires on May 13th. I've been getting notifications from my employer to provide evidence to renew I-9 before May 13th or I may get terminated. I decided to call USCIS today to try to expedite my I-821D. I spoke to a representative and she listed off a bunch of reasons why a case could be expedited. I chose financial hardships to an individual since that was the only one that could apply to me. she took my phone #, email, address, A#, LIN# etc and told me to it could take 5-15 days to get back to me. Is that how the process of expediting a case usually goes? I didn't get to speak to a level 2 representative so I'm wondering if there's another process in place to expedite a case.

thank you!
