I called the other lady which applied for me and told her what was up. She ended up calling the first lady and made sure everything went through.

Let's just say I saved a LOT of money doing that.
Oh, I tried all through high school. I talked to many different people in the college, even the college director. My friend was part of the college leadership thing, so she knew all the adminstration members well. We talked to them. I went to different campuses.
NOTHING.
I talked to my high school principal, as well. By graduation, most of the teachers/administration knew of my situation.
The assistant director even told me he knew someone in Mx who could help me in getting into UNAM. I just didn't want to leave the US forever.

The only way I was even able to eroll (paying out of state tuition) was because I met a girl who knew someone there who helped her.

Trust me, I tried.

wow, some of the stories I hear man... It saddens me. I'm hoping you all find ways to survive well. I feel so impotent so many times, I wanna help everyone in my reach, yet all I can do, is wait to see what happens.

It really sucks when you try so hard and keep getting rejected. I was so heartbroken when I found out that some of those people had the knowledge and power to help me, and all I could do was hate them. Over time, I've gotten over it.
I'm going back to school in January. I'm going to prove to those people that I can succeed without them.

Anyway, thanks for letting us know that you were able to get instate tuition even after you graduated from HS. I'm sure some HS students will find this information helpful.

Like its been said numerous times before here, at the end, we'll be stronger than we could ever be. Every trial, every decline, every humiliation, every tear; only makes us stronger. I'm glad you're going back to school, make sure you get good grades.

And its my pleasure about the info, I really wish I could help out everyone somehow.

could this possibly effect our good moral character for the DREAM act? since florida is one of the states that don't allow undocumented students to receive in-state tuition?
