the economy can benefit from giving documents to undocumented people. New businesses and tax revenue can be generated a lot of it!!

Reading articles like these is so depressing! Especially when Mexico doesn't think it's possible. I've been watching these forums since early summer of '09 and I feel like it's getting on the political game again.

I think we need to bump up our efforts, ignore these articles, and have everyone get involved, perhaps have everyone make at least one phone call to Congress a week.

I just can't see others and myself sitting around for things to change if we can't even do our part.

Maybe we can get this going maybe we are doing this wrong. Perhaps rethink our strategy? If you want to legalize we got to organize and plan something big that will open eyes. I am willing to ride to DC this summer with supporters if you guys are. I don't know but if you guys are serious about making a change pm me I'll give you my e-mail so we can plan something.

^He/she's right we really need to organize. If CIR is nowhere near to be passed we need at least DREAM to pass! I mean after all Obama acknowledged that it is necessary and he would get to it in his first year of office!
btw I did watch this on galavision news from Mexico and well they pretty much said it was very hard for any time of immigration reform to pass due to the economy and the lack of support. As depressing as it may sound, its something we already know.

They are telling us what we already know but with no lies. Pretty nice, except it's not what we expect to hear.

This dude should have manned up and should have told Congressmen to take the political risk and do something.

the thing is, you don't really know what to listen to these days. Some are saying that CIR will be hard to pass due to the bad economy, but other studies show that passing CIR will benefit the economy and make it better. Geez....all these talk. It's just there to drive us crazy

If 4 dreamers walking 2000 miles from Florida to DC doesn't get their attention then I don't know what will.

You guys lets think please.

Did Mather Luther King Jr. give up when he got locked up? Nay, he wrote a powerful letter the the clergymen of the south. After he got out he marched to D.C. Did it work? Look at the country now. We need to march to D.C, not us alone but us and supporters if can't march then we need to make our voice heard. We should (as many as can) rally in D.C

Instead of sitting here waiting for those 4 dreamer's to make a change we should get up and do something, obviously faxing, e-mails, and telephone calls wont do the trick. SO lets take it up another step and get this done once and for all! I'm tired and I'm pretty sure you are all too! This year CIR will happen I don't care if I reveal to the world about my status but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure this year it happens. You guys tell your friends, teachers, and family try to protest in your nearest major city plan with other dreamers. United we stand and united we fall...
