I saw that too.. I was like " DAYYYUMM".. We could use that money for scholarships.

So much money and still no talks on when the bill will be introduces. If that money will be used in promotion, all Americans can be educated on benefits of DreamAct and more Senators would get on board and would vote to pass it. i don't see it happening. So, what is that money spent on?

I believe that is the amount of money that groups that support the DREAM Act have contributed to Senators. If you guys click on "Timeline of Contributions" you can see each Senator's name and the amount of money contributed to him/her by groups that favor the bill vs. groups that oppose it (all are $0) and that totals $138,208,091 for all senators. Technically, they should pass this bill to please these groups that gave them so much money, but we can assume these groups had more interests for contributing than just the DREAM Act, so they might have been pleased with other bills by Senators that don't want to put themselves on the line because it's not a popular bill among their constituents. It's politics...
