So when the dream act passed, is he going to apply for that conditional residence?

To him, I would say that the Senate is made of 100 politicians. I said POLITICIANS. And, this is right before a midterm election. Of course, these politicans politicize things that they support or oppose even if they do not intend to do so.

If he does not want to be used politically, he should leave this country immediately. Or, he should face the reality. Both supporters and opponents will always make immigration a political issue. I think he will complain even when the Comprehensive Immigration Reform is debated and politicized.

I would be happily used politically if my being politically used could lead to the passage of the DREAM Act or the CIR.

This guy sounds like he has a deep hatred of the U.S.A Military!!!

Which brings the question: why is he in America if he hates it so much?

He calls the U.S an "Empire Machine". Why the hell is he here if he hates the "Empire Machine"!!

ugh, I agree with hgr1915. This guy seems to be full of hate towards our military. For him to be saying that he has lived this and what not is insulting. He basically is creating theses morals out of thin air and adding arab people in the mix.

That being said, I do agree with how dirty this whole issue has become, but I still want it to happen.

F... this guy, he can criticize when he is in the same situation, if he is not he should shut up. People become hypocrites when they are not in the same situation as other people.

I understand everything that he is bringing up in his argument. But the bottom line is that the United States has been in war since the tragic events of 9/11 and every year there has to be a Defense Authorization Bill. Look at the bright side, our troops are leaving Iraq and we will be concentrating on Afghanistan. There has to be funding for this and the war has to be brought to a close because it was started. Keeping that in mind, the DREAM Act HAS to be attached to this bill and we should be calling our assess off these next few days to make sure that happens because if it doesn't then it'll just be a bigger psycholigical blow to all of us who have pinned our hopes on this Tuesday.

Dose anyone notice that he doesn't use the word Republican at all, he blames the Democrats for everything!! Like all right wing nuts do. I was upset at first when i read it but now i see that this is just one of those dirty tricks that the right uses to discourage us from calling, Faxing, E-mailing & building our support for the DREAM ACT!! this is a P.R stunt. Because everyone knows politicians do what they do whether right or left, especially in a election year.
