I'm a new member to the site, but I'm no stranger. I like many others have been browsing for years. Sen Durbin says he will bring it up, he probably will in a statement but nothing major like a demanding a vote at that moment. As cruel as it is false hope is better than no hope, yes we need to keep calling if we want anything to happen that much is true. And yes I'm tired of the DREAM Act failing to get the opportunity to pass over and over, especially last year, when it was the perfect time to do it.

Agreed 100%.

OMFG (I know that I'm being a bit blasphemous) - someone, anyone, just to have a bit of comedy on this crap day, tell me why do YOU believe this?

He cannot get the job done. Democrats are asking to help THEM stay in office in exchange for NOTHING. They want to go out and campaign on their achievements and they've achieved nothing for immigration reform. President Obama and the leadership have given us failure after failure for the last 2 1/2 years.

Does anyone know of an employee who can keep a job with the promise to his employer that the will do it SOMEDAY? Not sure when. Can't promise you that he will. But he can try to do it. No guarantees.

I justr don't get it. What is the hold up? Is not like they can't squeeze in for a debate. Have you guys seen some of the ridiculous things that at times are discussed by congress? How can a bill that Durbin himself label as "Just and Fair" can't be brought up for a vote? I'm tire of the political BS and I want to see a genuine attempt to pass it!

They aired it last night. Obama said he was disappointed because he believes in the dream act. Then he was asked if he could implement some executive order to push dream and he said no because the republicans would use that as an excuse towards him.
