Let's not turn Ari88's Age thread into a different topic, I will post the URLs for the sources where I got this info from.

if you are on a visa, yes you can try and join the military and maybe get papers, other than that; your reading too much forums. IF the case was as you make it; it would be massively spread.

I'm late 40's I'm going to call myself an honorary DREAMer, since I am old and a citizen - but hey I made MANY phone calls, emails, faxes, letters, posts, nagging emails to friends and family etc etc etc ... over the last several years. So while I can't really feel your pain and disappointment and frustration - I do have great empathy for your plight.

Thanks for your support.

My parents where called by an elderly, co-worker of theirs with the request to call senator LeMieux in support of the DREAM Act. As far as I am concerned she does not have any family members facing this plight as you call it, she is a citizen, and I am very certain she does not know of my status as a DREAMer. That was a high point of my day a couple days ago that someone would do that.

We could not have done any of this without the support of citizens like yourself doing all that work and bringing awareness about the DREAM Act and what it entails to friends and family, and stressing your support for the DREAM Act to senators and representatives.
