Rednecks are less geographically isolated than hillbillies. You can easily find a redneck in Houston, Texas, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a pure hillbilly in the suburbs or in a metropolitan area- except in Beverly Hills.

Huillbillies are the more violent ass backwards strain of the redneck virus. You can find them mostly in the south.
