I got pulled over twice. First time got just a ticket. Second, Ticket + 1 day impound.
Both times, I told the officer I was illegal. He understood my situation, but gave me a ticket. I am waiting for my 2nd court hearing.

Go to WA and get a license. Problem solved. I'm leary of flying, but Amtrak or a bus should get you there for a decent price. If you take Amtrak don't take the Lakeshore Limited. Go down to DC then across to Chicago and Seattle.
