I nominate myself for a moderator position.

I offer all my past posts as examples of what I am able to provide and my caution observing the considerable visibility we have online not just among the immigrant community but among those that are interested in derailing our cause by coming into this site to post harmful information and deceptive information, or bend facts and their occasional use of poorly thought out posts in their movement against our progress, and hope to prevent such instances from happening to the best of my ability by addressing problematic areas ASAP when they surface.

I hope to become more active offline and be up to the news as it is happening through my involvement in various organization and groups committed to making change happen through various means, my ability to be online through my iphone will I hope ensure I am online and active more often to fulfill the duties of a moderator and be aware of areas of concern sooner in order to correct them.

I have also observed the considerable contribution provided by Ianus, Abaddon, and MIdreamer both online and even offline in some instances, and meeting the requirements set forth in the initial post and nominate them as candidates for moderator positions.

BUCKMINSTERFULLERENE would by my top choice. His/Her posts are always intellectual, on topic, and contain substance.
