I'm also done playing the waiting game.

I will be graduating from a reputable University in two years with an engineering degree, and I'm definitely looking to use my EU citizenship to move to the UK. I've been very lucky to be a citizen of a Southern American country and a European one. Unfortunately, it's not the situation most people are in :\

Well guys those of you who are staying, I wish you the best of luck. I won't get jealous if it passes, but we all had to take a gamble and the chips we are betting with are years of our lives. I used enough up sticking around and that's what I left. But if it passes and works out for you guys, I really do wish you all the best.

Oh yeah, and if you are just sticking around to piss off your enemies...its a dumb reason to stick around. Stick around because you made an educated choice, and you think its worth the wait. Don't throw your life away just to make a point.

QFT. Wasting away over your ideals is passé and best reserved for nihilist, communist-pot smoking hippies.

This ^.

I'm not letting down the people that have helped me all these years. I'll keep fighting with minimum wages until I give out.

Unless it's something that has to deal with securing the border and making it tougher on us. For those of you that already have a college degree then good for you, move back to your country of origin and make something happen for you, but don't sit around waiting for something to come to you.

I came to this country when I was 8, I grew up here and call this country home. However I have come to the realization that if I keep waiting then I'll probably waste away my life. I'm currently 21 and I will not wait any longer. I'm leaving in December. I don't give a f&ck if I get banned from entering again because I don't even want to return. There is another world out there outside the good ole US of A.

I'm not going to keep waiting for things to happen, I'm going to make them happen, and I hope some of you do the same, and stop living in fear and just do something to change your situation, even if it's not what you ideally want. It's better than just waiting and waiting because soon you'll hit 30 and will look back and realize and regret wasting your life waiting for some rednecks to feel pity for you.

Lol - why do people always blame the "rednecks"? seriously, there is just as much if not more hispanics, asians, blacks, etc that hate our guts. This shit happens all the time it's pathetic.

its probably rednecks and hispanics who hate us the most, you know the type that live in slums and leech off the govt checks, but its all the same the same horde of idiots who just vote for 'ideals' and have no clue whats actually going on in politics, you guys are braver than most, but if you don't have nothing more to fear as many here do, you guys should help mobilize if leaving anyway, dreamers who have no fear thats really something, and odds are it won't matter anyway, as alot of cases have gotten defferred action, and maybe even a work permit, i do not know the actual working of this but if you guys are looking at an all or nothing, it may be worth a shot, regardless though, just be sure that when you guys are ready to leave you have all your business ready, you have gotten the full benefit of being here, and have prepared as best you can with all the resources in your reach to be able to face the world in another place, its a shame we are all spread out otherwise the people here on this forum would probably be the most interesting group that alot of us has had the chance to meet, its really admirable to see a dreamer who has no fear of leaving and not knowing what lies ahead, much braver than someone who holds a gun up to unarmed civilians asking for papers or shooting the enemy or whatever role theyre choosing to play in their video game, where of course they hold all of the cheat codes, but still feel like they're being brave playing against everyone else with all sorts of advantages on them, that aint what the US used to be i dont know whats happened these last 10 years
