I totally agree.

When Obama was elected, can't remember exactly maybe 1.5yrs after...Dems had control of both houses, and had the best change of DA or CIR...Dems knew they would lose control....it's no excuse to blame republicans....I just think obama isn't serious....he says few words in spanish and wins over the Hispanics...he's playing all sides. I just don't see he's serious...only talks. I also think republicans aren't serious either. But at least they didn't lie about passing, if ur not gonna pass just say so...don't lie. my personal opinion he won't do anything even if he wins again...

It's not soo hard...economy is connected to immigration...give 12mil work permit or legal status and let them work....that's gonna add 48billion to gdp considering if all make 20K per yrs which is minimum, and considering 1 out of 5 of them work, u do the math. Americans are just lazy, i know tons who taking Social security for 2yrs just a way to relax even they can easily find jobs....let those who wanna work...work. ignorant ppl say immigrants cost money, but don't look at how much they help out and generate for govt. I hope they pass something, but i doubt Obama will do anything even if elected(deported more folks than ever in his time), he talks, and will only talk in future, he wants to win all sides w/o giving them anything. He's the best speaker I've known, I'll give him that at least.

I do want Obama reelected but not without a good fight. Obama thinks he has it easy with us and that minorties will vote for him to matter how much of an ass he is. I hope some republican fights equally for our attention--that would teach obama a good lesson.
So youre telling us that by giving us a fine, we will solve the 15 trillion dollar deficit, how much would we have to pay? lol I have to agree with DA User this time, Immigration is a hot topic, but we can't just think that the universe revolves around us.

it's true that immigration reform won't solve the 15trillion debt problem, but immigration could be the first real step to tackling the problem. It's a fact that immigrants work hard, and adding 12million eager folks would help the economy. This 15trillion debt won't be solved by just 1 solution, it will require many smaller solutions and immigration reform is one of them.

Social security is dying too b/c not enough workers and many who are consuming it. makes sense to add workers to the economy. whatever they do something has to be done quick. Just my opinion.

I'd love to see the looks on your faces when a Repulican wins the presidency.

"I wish we still had Obama as a president, I hate the Nazi checkpoints down the street" or
"OMG they passed a law making it legal to shoot an illegal anywhere" or
"They passed a law requiring SSN to purchase basic needs now we're doomed"

Oh well...

Yes, you guys do whine like schoolgirls, but you don't recognize all Obama has done which is different from the two years before when ICE was deporting dreamers, kicking down doors, and raiding business making large scale arrests.
