I want to thank everyone for their comments. They mean the world to me.

I jumped the gun on my original post. I was too eager and wanted to get my message out ASAP. That is only a very rough draft of my thoughts. Please stay tuned for a revised version which will be more to the point and have clearer wording. I hope I can come up with something that we all agree on so that we may send it out to the appropriate people to help them understand why the passing of the DREAM Act is so important to us.

All our efforts so far have gotten us closer but we are not there yet. Through the eyes of Americans we are seen as lazy people who like to complain instead of "just walking to the social security office and applying for a SS#". We are seen as nothing more than criminals through their eyes and we must continue to try and change this.

Please stay tuned.

True, they shall never know what it is to live a life like we do. It is because they always had this [basic] right since they were born. Most of them never took full advantage of it, and i feel seriously angered by that. It makes my fists clench when i am in school. Because of that, i have also have came to see video games, science, technology, and books as my escape from these feelings. Also, i have became to see social situations as a bit akward sometimes and something that is most of the times worthless. (However, i do have some close friends that i talk to regularly).

You also have to realize, because of this type of living, when we do become legalized, we will be the ones who will be the brightest (which we already are though) and the ones to take full advantage of opportunities that life can offer - not something you can say the same for most of the people up at my school (even though it's like one of the top districts in the state).

This is a point which truly angers me as well.

haha thanks, I just want to make sure you don't feel ridiculed and oppressed by people who don't understand. A lot of the people here will make you feel better, but some will criticize and say the wrong things. We all have to figure out our lives on our own so don't take everything people tell you so seriously. There is a lot of good information on these forums though so do some browsing, and it may give some helpful ideas. Keep your head up. I think the best therapy is talking to people who listen, so open up to someone and it may ease the burden you carry so heavily inside. Tell someone who you want to enlighten and be honest and genuine.
