It's important that you mention he is Dominican. All the people who answered so far, have no knowledge of Dominican culture so they can't properly answer the question.

Assuming you are Mexican or from Central America, he calls you Pancho because of the way you look. Dominicans and Puerto Ricans like to call Mexicans and Central Americans Pancho because they think that all of you look alike. Actually Puerto Ricans say "Panchito" to emphasize that Mexicans and Central Americans tend to be short. lol

Assuming you aren't Mexican or from Central America, then you are either short or chubby, if not outright fat. Pancho is also used to make fun of someone with a beer belly.

I see that makes sense, but im not fat or have a belly and im 5''11... im also Brazilian with Arabic blood so i dont look Chicano, i think that nigga is just straight up dissing me. Ima start calling him pancho and see if he gets irritated by it then ill know what he means. If he doesnt ill ask him what he means. lol i guess its just been pissing me off bc i never thought much about it until i randomly came across the word on urban dictionary and found out its a diss is Spanish/Argentine slang like someone else has said here.

I'm half Dominican, I don't have anything against Dominicans. If you are basing your comment on my post that the "crowd" from Washington heights is less then desirable, I would apologize but I am not lying. Have you taken a stroll in that neighborhood? you can step on chicken bones people throw out their windows cause they are too lazy to get to a garbage can. Not to mention the fact you can't walk 10 feet before someone offers you all sorts of pills, crack, weed, heroin and countless other things.

Don't get me wrong, not everyone of course is like that. But unfortunately the more educated ones are in the minority.

And as far as Puerto Ricans go, how many girls get raped every year during the Puerto Rican day parade?..... I rest my case.
