Do it! I hate it when Dreamers get interviewed who have really thick accents and don't speak very well. Sorry to those dreamers but it really doesnt paint the picture that you've been in this country long enough to really call it your home. The Dreamers need a face out there that really looks and speaks like the rest of America so that the point really gets across and resonates with the skeptics.

so u doing the interview in english? I'd say all dreamers should make univision conduct the interviews in english w/subtitles. Hispanics don't need convincing; it's whitey browsing thru univision who does.

I think you should definately do it; however, stay away from pushing comprehensive immigration reform as it will not sink well with the rest of Americans. Thank the President, and tell the rest of America that this is "your" country, and what you and the rest of us are willing to sacrifice and do to make it a better America. Please stay away from comprehensive immigration reform. In addition, you should definately make a point about helping those DREAMERS who have degrees and were brought here as children but are older the 30.

Oh and for god's sake don't go there waving Mexican flags. The May 2005 protests for immigration reform had a severe negative backlash because all the fucking day laborers showed up with Mexican flags waving and yelling slogans in Spanish and played well into the hands of the conservatives who have been scaring white people into thinking Mexico was taking over. of course it wasn't all of them, but guess which ones the TV stations showed.

Why won't you help your fellow dreamers when you have the chance

I say do it- one, because you believe yourself to be articulate, and you don't know who they might ask to talk if you decline. And two because it would be an easy way to "come out," if your friends should see you on tv.

Say something about fixing the extreme waiting times for people to get a visa if they want to do it legally, specifically those that are from Mexico and the Philippines. Maybe people would not have to come to the US illegally if the US did not have such a backwards immigration system.

Do it and let us know when it airs.

Don't say anything other than how you struggle throughout life as an illegal immigrant. Don't say anything about CIR, long visa waiting time or anything like that. You want to earn more support from the American people, you don't want to appeal to them as someone who never appreciate and keep asking for more. Our priority now is to get Obama reelected and then we can ask for DA/CIR because we will have a better chance with Obama in office.
