Currently own a 99' Toyota Solara V6 with a 5-Speed manual transmission. I'd recommend it for being 2-door, spacious, and fun, but you'll probably only find the V6 with an automatic tranny or the weaker 4 cylinder version of the Solara. If you enjoy modding than this is one of those cars, uncommonly modded, that has potential to look very clean.

Example (neither are mine):

i really wouldnt mind a trans am to work on though. but inexperienced driver + v8 insurance would be an ungodly amount to pay.
dude, just don't...even rich ppl get used 'new' cars. Getting something off the dealer is just bad practice. Get something that's 2 yrs old....also never get a 'launch' model, they're always full of problems.

PS: even though it's the better looking of the retro-muscle cars, the challenger sucks. It really can't hold a candle to an '11 mustang (and I don't particularly dig mustangs); if you gonna dump that sort of coin just get a 1st gen and roll in style.

Glad you're going to be realistic about it. Just get your priorities straight like school and getting a better job. Get a better investment. A car's value deteriorates right when you get out of the lot. Sorry if i burst your bubble but we're not legal yet not completely at least.

Those are all sexy cars for old models.. Except the impreza though butt ugly. The new model is sexy though, almost looks like an evo. I keep hearing impreza is a beast of a car though so i wouldnt mind trying one, but then again what do i know.

Yea i just always had a thing for that muscle car look. Im just eager to jump in and have some credit already so i can do what ive seen all my friends do for the past few years. Im sure im not alone there right guys? But i didnt mean to sound like a snob. When i said i didnt want used i meant real beat up 1998-2000 toyotas and shit that i see some people getting and replacing all the parts just cause its cheap to maintain.
