As for the driver handbook, you can download it and read it through Adobe.

I studied the handbook while waiting to take the written test and passes, I had not studied before that.day. I highly recommend you study it because not all the questions are.common sense. Especially here in CA where the test is like 40 questions.

All of us have taken drivers ED already. I do not understand what the big deal is. Driver's Ed is all the driving experience we need. I still have my driving test waiver from H.S.

I doubt it is still valid, it mentions no dates though. I might get away with it specially since people at the DMV are retarded.

I downloaded the Driver's Handbook on my iPhone and read it entirely before I started driving. I didn't have Driver's ED in HS so I still have to have proof of taking a driver education course. In Texas you can take the course online so chapter exams are like taking an open-book test. You still have to take the driving exam though.

Have you taken the online course already? Im wondering if you can get the certificate right away and wait a month (hopefully) until we get the EAD. So I could go ahead and leave that out the way at least.

I have not taken the course but you should be able to do it already. I don't think the certificate of completion has an expiration date. Make sure you research the different schools because some have different requirements and fees.
As for the EAD, I think we will be waiting 3+ months to get it.
