I don't know why these schools are being so hard. Its only takes them 5 min work to make it official transcript, I went to my school ask for it and they print them off by my student ID# and they put stamp on it and put it in envelope and seal it up, it only took them 5 mins to do that.

I would suggest you to call your Board of Education and explain your situation, I am sure they should get you official transcript.

I ordered mine and it included all my grades and classes of every single class I've ever taken in the United States. Including school ID pictures. SAT scores, and ACT scores. AP scores, CAHSEE scores, and my college admission. I have proof back from 1998 up until 2008 and the rest are bank statements and lease agreements.

No, just as long as you graduated/in school, you're alright

Your schools have problems... It is your information, and if you request it, they must provide a copy. I live in a tiny town or suburbs too, but they print out copies at school, stamp it and put it in envelope .

No they don't.

I can't get my transcripts until the 27th (administrative staff is on a vacation), guess I'll have to mail-in late.

They usually have someone there one day per week to handle summer transcript requests.

It's impossible for the school to be completely empty.

Surprisingly they do lol. They did that at my sister's high school. The whole school was empty except the cleaning people for 2 weeks.

i'm wondering if they have to be official transcripts. i have an official hold on my transcripts because i'm yet to pay my tuition from a couple of semesters ago.

i doubt they'll require official (sealed) transcripts, knowing that most of us don't have the privilege of taking out loans and have to pay for everything as we go.

Perhaps it's different in NYC. I thought there will be no one too, but one of the NY dreamer here told me that some staffs would work in certain dates for transcript. And I called the school, and it turns out every wednesday, there is a staff preparing graduates for their transcripts.

I got mine two days ago. It was easy, they didn't even ask me for ID. Maybe they recognized me. haha

Well I visited personally, the security guard told me the staff isn't here until 27th. I don't see much point in having staff preparing transcripts for graduates at this time in NYC, college starts on the 27th, admission has been closed for fall semester since at very least march.
