Bro and I just received our I-797C Notice today! Took exactly one week from the day it was received at the Lockbox. Now we're waiting on our Biometrics letter and appointment. I don't feel comfortable walking in so we're probably going to wait. Just praying that we'll get lucky and get our appointments on the same day! And that we get approved! USA YOU NEED YOUNG HARD WORKING TALENTED PEOPLE LIKE US! Btw is anyone thinking of traveling outside the US once they get approved? Lol My relatives keep asking my mom why we don't want to travel. lol

It gets frustrating reading everyone's posts who applied in Aug and already did biometrics.
I applied with a lawyer also and I don't know exactly what was sent, but I gave the lawyer a shitload of proof as well. Probably 200+ sheets of paper I am estimating.
Same here with the 200+ sheets. Idk what theyre supposed to do with it, but i BETTER not get a denial. Thats all im saying. Lol

Only sent 22 pages of proof immunization records, passorts old and new, birth certicificates, highschool transcripts, prrof here before and on 15jun, diploma... Applications... Should here something by next week!
That was partly my thing too, not having the funds to do it between billing periods. Thank God for family, i had all the funds early, I'll be on a Ramen noodle diet till i get my DL. Lol.

Being careful, You can say that again. Took forever to send out, i had gathered all my necessary proofs since Aug 20th. Everything went out a month later after dealing with day after day worth of constant bullshit.

Congrats definitely to you and your bro. And i may sound a little slow for not knowing fully myself if we're actually granted international travel privileges, but i couldve sworn i read somewhere that wasnt an option. Anyone willing to chime in on this?

Im extremely happy for all our fellow dreamers who have actually completed the process and received their EAD's already. Congratulations.

Please we'd love the input of you guys who have gone through the process.
As you know we've done our best to get through all 1492387472 threads created in the past couple months alone, but its almost impossible (THANK GOD FOR STICKIES).
But nothing better than personal experience to teach us newbies how to get through this next month and change of a grueling process.

So, check in, and Sound off!!
Im still waiting for my free consultation appointment which is in a couple of weeks. I dont wanna risk doing it by my self and IM too poor to hire a lawyer lol.. but better late than never right?

Thanks! We're soooooooo excited and impatient to get our bio appointment lol I read that we would be able to but it would have to be for a school, work, or humanitarian related reason. (I think eating tacos and visiting family I can't even remember what they look like doesn't count....lol and I'm really not interested)
And there's a fee attached to it...idk how much.
