Excuse my ignorance but what can be done about this? Doesn't Jan Brewer have the final decision since she already said Category C33 applicants won't be given a DL or ID?

EOs can only clarify gray areas, if law says that "I-766 work permits and other DHS documents" (just an example) can be used to get a state ID or drivers license, then an EO can allow I-797C notice of action to be used as well, it cannot block I-766 holders from getting them. Besides REAL ID Act says that work permits are fine for state drivers licenses, and federal law overrites state laws.

Same way as DACA was possible by them going on and around to reshape the enforcement priorities, Obama can't just sign an EO making all of us permanent residents (however now that I think about it, it could be possible to do such an amnesty under the wartime citizenship provision, same thing under which the MAVNI program is authorized - yes by an EO, technically speaking this country is always at war, so hey if all else fails and Obama feels like a troll - why the fuck not, still even I would wear a raincoat for a political shitstorm of that magnitude).

Either way we just need someone to be the poster child and Brewer will lose very quickly. Even if Real ID act were to be ruled unconstitutional, then her EO nonetheless violates state law.

WTF! No wayyyy, they cancelled it?! Definitely get a law suit going. It was their mistake for not seeing the C33 code, you were honest and they shouldn't cancel your DL for their mistake. Good luck.

I'm in AZ too. Brewer is straight up trippin for not allowing us to have state benefits. I don't even care about getting health care benefits and shizz, I just want a DL. Lol.

I have emailed two organizations, hopefully they see a case out of this.

do they give a reason why it was cancelled in the first place? and usually they send you a letter to let you know your lisence is out. where did you check? did you get a letter?
