Basically this Immigration attorney says that you're only ineligible if you were tried as an adult. I know this is law pertaining to visa, adjustment of status, and naturalization (and DACA is none of those), but the same principles should apply.

Well i turn 18 in April so it was almost 3 years ago and since then i haven't had any trouble whatsoever with the law

USCIS is able to see everything before granting you the benefit... He was a minor so idk!

I don't get how people get themselves in these sorts of problems. After checking out his reasoning I feel bad for him, but again, why put yourself in that position if you are illegal? I just don't get it.
