But a score is meaningless if you don't have enough history. You could have a 750 but if you only have 1 credit account under your belt, you will encounter problems. You might get financed but with a ridiculous rate.

That's bullpoop. First of all the SSN we will/have receive(d) will be an SSN not an ITIN....
they look a lot different and ITIN's start with a 9 and the IRS issues ITIN's not SSA. Please go somewhere else and do your research before you make a decision.
