That doesn't make sense . Go to another place. I'm having trouble finding a car loan. Where did your sister have luck? I'm pretty stable, decent pay, short credit history, a few credit cards but no luck.

Is it even possible for us to get a car loan/finance considering we just got our SS# and have no credit history at all (I know some of you do but for us that do not)?

some DACAers who applied for credit cards got their credit scores back as 735. search it.

and yes, take your business elsewhere. stupid fools.

They might of had history with an itin or other social. It is impossible to even have a score that soon. You can't score credit without any history or history less then 6 months old.

But a score is meaningless if you don't have enough history. You could have a 750 but if you only have 1 credit account under your belt, you will encounter problems. You might get financed but with a ridiculous rate.

Btw, social is from deferred action.

Anyone else have any ideas on how to get a car as in lease or finance?
Try going to your current bank or someone else for a pre-approval. Then go to the dealer. Once they know a bank would finance you, they will jump through hoops for you at the dealer and will even offer you better deals.. And lower interest financing...

Honda has a cool program for recent college grads that will give you 0.9% if you have a job offer. Check it out.

Well, apparently it's not "impossible."

That's bullpoop. First of all the SSN we will/have receive(d) will be an SSN not an ITIN.... they look a lot different and ITIN's start with a 9 and the IRS issues ITIN's not SSA. Please go somewhere else and do your research before you make a decision.
