Juang: you remain an inspiration, bro, truly an emerging substance for a new century--if any one is gunna survive in this here shit "no papeles, holmes" world it'll be you. YOU love what you do (like my dad) and i admire that in a person, truly. Fheew, i couldn't stay and be like my father, sure optimistic and love-giving but no education because always working, always kids, always bills.

Naw, man, i wannta always be learning. to bad there's no education taught in English down in Mexico--where i was made--shit, i cant really read in Spanish let alone write in it. Wait, is there higher education taught in Mexico in English?

Hey GOW125, I am working (very, very slowly) towards a BS in Biological Science specializing in Ecology and Evolution. And you?
I am taking it very slow, 1 or 2 classes per semester, in community college (school wants me to transfer already because i have enough units) because i wannta have my papers by the time i get it (BS) w/in no more than 5yrs time. 5yrs being the MOST i can possibly push it.

I just graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and its going to be a tough year ahead not being able to get a job. One of the hardest things is when people ask: when are you going to start looking for a job? I don't really know how to answer that...for the summer I was able to say "i'm taking the summer off", but now its a little harder. Has anyone else run into that problem or have any suggestions?

I'm giving it a year; maximum two years and if than nothing is happening, I can't just sit around - I'm going to try to go to Canada or my country of origin. Thats just me though, I couldn't personally wait around any longer, I know other people would be able to, so thats all a personal choice.

Yeah man, I'll go anywhere (anywhere they teach higher ed in English) to pursue my education MS then PhD and maybe even a job. Australia Canada UK. maybe since i'll be a professional, i can head back to the states and get my papers by being a foreign professional. That'll be crazy, boy.

The question is, however: will you be a dreamy in a foreign country? i got an uncle in Ontario Canada and he said if i where to try and get my papers there, i'd have to marry some broad right quick (am already married to a dreamy, irony). Basically the same ol shit.

I have my loved one, a Canadian citizen, in Toronto at the moment. We've been together for 2 years, and have already talked about marriage if nothing comes up by the time I'm done with some schooling here, which is 2 more years.

It's not exactly an easy task considering I'd have to go back to the country I came from, get my passport from there, fly to Canada, and start the process. It takes months before work permit if given and a whole bunch of other stuff. Not to mention being banned from the U.S. for 10 years, which means I wouldn't be able to see my family until they adjust status, or I let the time pass.

But that's what I'm wondering...how do people get banned? My country is Mexico, but who would ask on the way over there? I'm not sure how it works.
