Sorry, Flyin, but I doubt DACA receipts are enough because they clearly state at the top, and I quote, "This notice does not grant any immigration status or benefit." I doubt he/she would get deported, but I am sure he/she would undergo the inconvenience of, for instance, being held at immigration detention center for a few days.

yeah, well he would still get pulled over. But he won't get deported. I mean if he doesn't mind talking to BP for 5 minutes. I didn't have the guts to travel to SD w/o daca but my friend lived down there in Chula Vista and worked up here. She was ab-540 so I know she traveled back and forth.

I'm with this sexy lady right here. Plus, I think the OP said they hadn't even applied for DACA yet.

@OP: A bunch of people in a rented van? I wouldnt risk it.
