I'm in MA and recently got my driver's license, it's for 5 years. To get your driver's permit or to apply for a non driver's license ID (Mass ID), you'll need to present your EAD card, social security card and a proof of address (like a checkbook with your address on it or a copy of your school transcript prepared not more tha 6 months ago and sent to your present address). but it says "only valid with DHS authorization" your social security number is not valid, you must go back to the SS office and get it reprinted without those words, that's a mistake on their part. If they ask you why they should give you a social without those words printed tell them that i sent you. they know who zone2oo0 around there.
