Indeed, I have. In junior high school though and it had nothing to do with being illegal. I wasn't aware of that situation yet. Dark days. I almost came super close to ending it. I've never told anyone, ever. Now, I look back during that time and I just cringe. I wouldn't dream of doing that now. But, it has made me stronger. We all go through bad situations from time to time. The best thing is to talk it out and not let it eat you up inside. Just like the way you are doing now. We all feel that way, you are not alone in that regard. I am confident that come May we will all get our chance at happiness. With a username like Optimism, I expect you to live up to that standard. Like that way I do with my username.

They won't care and many in fact will celebrate it because it's one less illegal to deal with. Even on here among supporters, people become forgotten. That one kid who took his own life last year- Juaquin something or rather - we were sad when it happened, but basically few people will remember him. The saddest part there was DACA was announced a few months later.

Also, to answer OP's post I'm sure I've dealt with it just not anything too severe but one thing that did help me a lot was volunteer work. It made me feel useful to know that people acknowledged me for what I did and just the fact that I got to meet so many people and even hear about their own struggles made me realize that everyone has it tough in their own way.

I've been battling with mine for years now and sometimes I just get ideas in my head where i feel like taking my own life and doing something drastic to show the goverment that they need to do something about immigration and stop playing with the undocumented people's lives. maybe that will push the envelope and they will stop fucking around. |
