26 in Arizona, got my DACA. I'm still sticking with the med school track (meaning I'll be one of those 30 yr old intern... oh well), but if AMA says RPI isn't good enough for them... I dunno. Succumb to alcoholism, become emotionally abusive to everyone around me, become self-destructive in general...

Also known as the academia. I have a M.S. in biology, so I'll probably go for a Doctorate degree (I can do it now, but I'm currently holding it off for Med school) and work as a bioethicist and/or teach.

27, CT. Daca approved.

Got my learner's permit a few days ago. Graduating from college in a few weeks. Should have Cum Laude, or even Magna Cum Laude if my grades are 4.0 this semester (reasonable chance of happening).

I'm graduating with a business degree with a concentration in accounting. I don't know what the next few months will look like. I'm in an interesting position having missed the season for internships entirely and not having had the chance to have real world work experience in accounting. Only had a social security now for a few measly weeks. My advantage lies entirely that I'm bilingual and I seem to get along very well with almost anyone.

Its about who you know, right? Its the same in accounting. My school has some incredibly understanding people and with just a little bit of luck, I might find myself working at a CPA firm in the next few months. Need to play my cards right though and maybe I'll be able to carve out a living.

If things ever go sour, I have the benefit of at least knowing a little bit of international accounting and having a strong knowledge of gaap gives me a leg up on a lot of accounting jobs in other countries (Australia, Canada, UK, etc). I'm a EU citizen so I always have the fallback of going to Europe.

I'm approaching 27, still waiting on DACA approval.

I already have an undergraduate degree, and enough credits to actually receive a Masters if my old university allows me to matriculate given the new situation. I was in the process of getting a PhD in physics but the lack of status pretty much destroyed any hopes of that, as I was unable to properly matriculate and advance to candidacy. It has been a couple of years since I left, and there is no way I could go through the hell of studying for the Comp exam again, 70+ hours in the lab per week on top of grad classes, and making less money than the current federal minimum wage allows.

However, I would like to receive my Masters degree as the only thing I would have to do is to matriculate. Every other requirement, including passing courses, teaching , passing comps, and research has already been satisfied long time ago, and the only step is to enter and run the info through the departmental system - a system that ironically requires legal and lawful status.

Ultimately, if I am able to find a job that pays $75K+ per year (I have ~3 years of CS/IT experience), after all the stupid hurdles and spending thousands of dollars of my own money, I'll let these fuckers keep their degree, and may they choke on that piece of paper.

*Ditto*

I am with Panchopantera...

Except I am from Las Vegas and after my Ged; I got an actual High School diploma because Nevada offers in-state tuition to anyone who graduates HS, even if not legal at the moment.

Graduated from college five years and have been patiently waiting. To be honest, I was ready to go back to my home country last year, but DACA came out of nowhere.
I initially wanted to be a Dentist, but at this point I'm focusing on plan B, which is PA school. Dental school doesn't seem realistic at this point b/c of my status.
One day dentistry is not its all cracked up to be....
U'll b allright.
