How is he horrible??? Didn't he just sign a bill into law barring landlords from asking the immigration status of their tenants?? Hasn't he called for comprehensive immigration reform????? Don't you cali kids already have instate tuition???? I can understand why he vetoed the bill.
Gray Davis, the previous governor, was the reason we got in-state tuition. Damn I miss that guy. Maybe he would've signed CA Dream anyway.
He was going to give us DLs, too... Man, I wish I'd've graduated High School in Cali

After you get your financial aid to finish college then how do you work legally?

He's not THAT horrible, I don't think he's horrible at all. My friends barely got enough money they need from CalGrant. There's not a lot of money going around for all the legal kids, so I understand why the terminator had to veto the bill. If there were tons of money lying around, maybe he would not have vetoed it. And he signed a legislation that prevented landlords from asking residency status. I think he's doing all he can in regards to illegal immigration.

I see your point, but when you need the aid so bad, like i do .. then maybe you would probably feel the same way i do about him. But whatever i suggest we focus on the DA = \ and make those calls

I understand your situation because I am in the same situation... But we can't go around being like Alipac by whining and complaining every time a politician does something small that doesn't benefit us!

yeah, i agree with lilbawler2001. Arnold is not a bad guy. He is just being reasonable here. and the only reason davis signed the ab540 was because he was being recalled; he would have never signed it in the first place.
